some things you should know
We are a high-end, boutique design firm. We seek engagements with motivated companies of all sizes, looking for an out-of-the-box approach to their brand. Our projects are priced according to the amount of time needed for us to do the absolute best work we can. For this reason, we only work with serious clients with budgets that will allow us to hit home runs. We'll never sacrifice quality under any circumstances, and we don't do spec work or handle small projects which do not allow us to utilize our full skillset. Below are a few other things you should know about us:
- We're worth every penny. Everything we create is done for you and only you. We don't recycle designs, use
templates, or outsource work overseas. We create websites that get noticed and reach goals in your specific industry.
We're not the bottom 99% of design firms. We're the top 1%, and we take our work very seriously.
- We're brutally honest. If we have an idea to add value to your website, we'll tell you about it. If you have a terrible
idea that will hurt your brand, we'll also tell you about it. If you want a firm that's great at taking
orders, Cleverbird is not for you.
- Our quotes are accurate. You'll know what you're getting yourself into. Unless there is a major change in scope
during the course of a project, our prices don't change. We put it on ourselves to learn as much about your concept
as possible prior to starting work. We also only handle fixed price engagements. We don't charge hourly.
It's a bad practice for everyone involved.
- We reject clients. If we feel our expertise will not be maximized on a project, we won't take it on. We ask lots of
questions to understand your concept intimately before drafting a proposal. Don't be offended if our first interaction
feels like an interview. We want to stand behind every website we create. If a project doesn't fit our expertise,
we'll let you know.
- We get fully booked. We're always busy. However, we don't allow ourselves to get overbooked, so we stop
taking new clients when we are at maximum capacity. Our Design Schedule fills up very quickly, and to ensure
we can dedicate the proper time each project deserves, we stop taking new clients every other month.
We do, however, offer a waiting list.
